    Range Rover 2005 OEM Skin

    Hi Guys,

I wasnt going to post this since I'm sure no one will like it because it is really very simple and objective, but figured what the hell...

This all started after we got a 2005 Range Rover, and my dad saw the OEM system on it... It doesnt have Navigation since no Car manufacturers offer it here inbrasil, but my dad loved the simplicity of the system, and started bugging me to make an interface like that for his carpc (Vauxhaull/Chevrolet Omega).

I think it is very simple in terms of an interface, but is surprisingly easier to use than most carpc skins Ive tried... I wasnt going to use it myself but I'm starting to think about it...

Looks good. I do like the simplicity, the volume buttons, and like jthiani said the fact all the screens have the same layout - it would probably be very intuitive to use. I will give it a try when you finish.

Me too me too. Of course this is immediately after I said in mrsnyder's thread that I hadn't seen anyone keep the buttons in fixed positions and change the context. Also like the way there's sort of a color-coded index on the main page that carries through to the subpages.

    Hey Guys,

    thanks for the unexpected feedback....

OK, my dad thought it was crap and wanted it cleaned off some more... I'ma working on some other ideas and I will post them soon.... although I'll be off to china next week on business, so dont expect anything before the 18th or 19th...

Anyways, I dont think I will have room for a logo, nor am I willing to sacrifice room for it at this point.... (plus, those who drive a range rover dont need to be reminded by the carpc, they can just look out the window and see the drooling passer-bys )

If I ever do release this I'll be sure to release all psds and stuff I use so others can alter it...
