I downloaded it and put it inside the LSX skin folder but nothing happens when I click on the clock.

im gonna go out on a limb and say i dont think you copied the files correctly.

inside of the LSX directory , you should see these files

POPUP_ON.jpg
POPUP_OFF.jpg
POPUP_empty.bmp
POPUP.skin
ExecTBL.ini

If you have a folder named popup_menu inside of the LSX folder, this is wrong
all loose files inside of the rar file should be in the ROOT of the skin folder.

i just repacked the rar file to remove the extra folders, so you should only see loose files, for anyone in the future who has the same problem.

i think there is something wrong with this in the latest version of RoadRunner, none of my speedo's work anymore either. I think there is something you need to change or do to fix it, but havnet had the time to figure out why they dont work anymore.
also you may want to upgrade from ls3.0 to LSX

Now for the question(s).

I used your revamped .exe file for iGuidance. It says for version 2.1NA Mine is 2.14 or something similar and it seems to work pretty well. However whether I have your modified .exe file or the original I have this issue. Sometimes the menu buttons you've designed work, sometimes they don't. The main problem with the modified .exe is that when they don't work then I can't even use iGuidance's smaller menu button. What can I do to make these more reliable?

Secondly, I have previously had no problems with the fullscreen mode, in fact I thought it was wonderful, but for some reason now when I go fullscreen it will not exit. If I press the minimize button it flashes the screen with the menu buttons briefly but goes right back into the fullscreen mode. I recently applied the minlogon hack to windows but I'm unclear as to why that would cause a problem. It seems to have caused a few others too, but that is for another forum.

Lastly, I never had the split com function with the speedometer working but I was thinking about tackling that problem. I see from your last post that it is an issue with the new RR and just wanted to say that I am eagerly awaiting a possible fix.

the buttons for IG not working 100% is a known issue, basicly the issue is window focus. If you click on the map, then click the buttons they work. I think there is a solution to this somewhere, have to dig it up. As for the smaller iGuidance menu button, its still there, the images used for it is just 100% transparent. But the area where the button was at still works if you click on it.

fullscreen: when u update to the latest ver of RR, it replaces the KeyTBL.ini file in the root of RR, recopy the one from the skin and it should work again.
You will have to do this everytime you update to a newer ver of RR.


well the split com thing sounds like you have 2 problems.
For it to work, you will still need to have your gps com port split, what app are you using to do this?
Second, there is a issue with this feature in the latest ver of RR, i read in another post guino saying there is a fix for this or something to that effect, i just have to get some time to look at it and see whats going on.
