you need a com port splitter, so you can share your gps com port with multiple applications.

the chances are high, i know ive been saying this for a long time. But i will be releaseing the psd files for this skin. Im just lazy, busy and preoccupied with other crap to clean the psd files up. But i guess i can do it step by step and start with the main menu and options menu. Ill release the psd as seperate psd files for each section of the skin so its easier for people to work on the section they want to change, and not have to search through tons of layers to figure out which graphic was for what screen.
Ill try to upload something before week is out. PROMISE!

I actually have some code to work with MAPMONKEY & FreeDrive (not mapstore) that should pull up the GPS info from MM/FD without needing a port splitter (as long as MM/FD's settings are in place). Plus there's some code to free up the COM port when launching an external GPS, FD or Mapmonkey. But sometimes it doesn't work all that well. Your best bet is to use a port splitter (will work best in all cases).

did you install the right xport?
you can find xport right here in THIS site, im not sure what software you have installed. It has nothing to do with ipods though afaik.

What's up Smoke.. Not sure if I'll get any help on this or not.. I really like some parts of your skin and I like other parts of CDR's MC2.0 skin. I'm trying to combine the two.. What I really like about yours is the GPS screen. I like how you can make it full screen.

I'm trying to take that over to the MC2.0 skin. I copy over the ExecTBL.ini and the EXTERNAL_GPS_FS3.skin to the MC2.0 skin folder. I change one of the buttons in MC2.0's GPS screen to run "GPSFS". I get your script button to show but that's all that really changes.. It doesn't go full screen and actually doesn't look any different at all besides your script arrow showing up..

What am I missing?

EDIT.. Nevermind.. I'm an idiot. It was EXTERNAL_GPS_FS.skin that I needed..

Question, when I go full screen in GPS I have to tap the iguidance screen before the "zoom in" / "zoom out" buttons will work. Is there any way around this?
