i can upload the psd for the freedrive stuff as i created it in a seperate file orignaly.

That was it.. I thought it had to be the exact window title but if it has anything *skinbedder* it was taking it..

Yes, there is a new skinbedder (v3).

Smoke, do you know why this would happen.. When I open IG fullscreen (GPSFS) it opens fine, I can close it via the EXIT_FS button, etc.. However, when I try to open another skinbedder app (GOOPS) it opens IG again instead of the other app.. This is the same if I open GooPS first.. Here is my ExecTBL.ini entries:

"GPSFS","LOAD;EXTERNAL_GPS_FS.skin;RUN;LSTOOLS\SB2 .9\SKINbedder.exe;SKINbedder||RUN;LSTOOLS\SCRIPTS\ EXIT_FS.exe"

"GOOPS","LOAD;EXTERNAL_GPS_FS2.skin;RUN;LSTOOLS\sk inbedder\SKINbedder.exe;SKINbedder||RUN;LSTOOLS\SC RIPTS\EXIT_FS.exe"

Know what I need to change?

well if both apps open fine on the first run, it sounds to me that skinbedder is not being closed inbetween you opening the other. When you leave the gps screens, it dosent exit skinbedder, it just minimizes it.
Ive never successfully configured skinbedder to work with anything else other than iGuidance.
what you may need to do in your case is send an exit command that kills skinbedder if you are trying to launch a second instance.
Or second thought, you can make sure that the .exe for one of them is different and also the window title is differnt so RR will look at them as two different apps. You prob should still close the other before launching a second embeded app. RR starts to do funky things when more than one application is embeded at the exact same time.

Do you know how to specify programs skinbedder should launch? The .ini file for skinbedder says:

";If SKINbedder.exe is launched without the <program> parameter, use this as the default."

But what syntax do you use to specify a program parameter?

Hi ls!
As a newbie I've been playing around a bit with different front ends and applications in order to learn and find my own preferences. However, after I found your skin RR is my choice of frontend.

I have been tweaking my set up for some time now, but I still have some problems with the Freedrive skin. Freedrive somehow rezises the window so the lower part of the skin disapears. Therefore I can see (but not use...) the volume controls in the lower part of the window, but the menu and zoom buttons are gone. Therefore I have to close FD every time I want to change music or do something else - which is quite anoying.
What I do not understand is that FD does not resize in the same manner on my office computer, although it does not embedd perfectly here either.
This morning (oups in trafic...) on my way to work, I tried to copy the files from my office computer to my carputer.
Something probably went wrong, because FD still does not embed... For instance - when i click to search for an adress, the command buttons appears just outside the top of my screen.

Therefore, and since I'm a newbie, any help would be apreciated!

nope, its prob best u ask the skinbedder sections. Ive only gotten skinbedder to ever work with IG.

i would suggest first to reinstall the FD skins and make sure you install both the skin for Freedrive and the freedrive skin files for RoadRunner. Im not really sure whats going on, need a little more info on how you have everything set up.
