there should not be a SKINbedder_v2.99999 folder inside of LSTOOLS, you must have copied that folder from somewhere else.

it should be
LSTOOLS\SB2.9\SKINbedder.exe

you dont point anything to startup.exe that file is used by SKINbedder.exe to launch and kill the nag screen in IG

Are all GPS buttons suppose to work? I currently only have the zoom and the full buttons that work.

Freedrive currently is only supported in the older version of this skin, LS3.0betaX

There will be updated freedrive support later.

Sorry I don't use any of them so I guess I don't pay muuch attention to them. I use IG. Are you supporting both skins? Old and New? I see the old is day skin and the new is night skin.

Can this also use SkinBedder 3.0?

both versions of the skin are night skins, im only supporting the current version (LSX) which is only the latest update to the older skin, its not a complete redesign. You can use SkinBedder3 if you like, its super buggy IMO thats why im still using 2.9 The way the skin is setup now, it should be fairly easy for anyone to customize the GPS screens to do whatever they want with them.
The paths are configured in the ExecTBL.ini file so you dont have to edit the .skin files just for the paths. Also, all the buttons in the GPS screens are labels, so you can edit the text on any of the buttons on the gps screens and also the code for those buttons to do whatever you like. You can also use the gps screens as a starting point for embeding a custom app etc.

That great Liquid_Smoke, I like the fact that it's text based for the labels, is this also true for the main menu screen? I'll like to modify that, maybe take out some of the options to make it simple. Can I do all of that without designing images? Will that be in the ExecTBL.ini file also? Thanks a lot.

unfortuanately, the main menu is about the only place i didnt use labels for the text, believe me i wanted to. But for design reasons, i was unable to use labels on the main menu. If you noticed when you mouse over the buttons on the main menu, the text color changes from black to white, i cant do that with a label and if i picked only one color for the text, i would of had to change the way the mouse over/down images looked because the contrast would of made it hard to see the text if it stayed black or stayed white. I do plan to release alternate main menus and a simplified ver with all labels.

As far as editing the labels found elsewhere in the skin, you will need to load the skin up in rrskineditor.exe or hand edit the .skin files in notepad both of which are very easy.

Thanks again. Any reason why you did a mouse rollover considering this is for car use and touch screen would be used? Anticipating your updates.
