hey lost, my comments wernt really directed at you, i agree also with your points 1 and 2 and even with dbassix, but if someone dosent want to, hey so be it. live and let live, but dbassix comments were not called for.
weather or not LHD=screw the USA, i dont know, im sure it wasnt ment that way.

am i right there are three diff fonts used?
i could only find two of them so i changed the volume percentage, its a bit bigger now, but ok...

i must say i have some problems finding/reading buttons...maybe you can enhance the fonts and icons a bit...

Winamp AVS doenst embed for me i hit the button nothing happens, i hit it again ,AVS window pops up shortly and disappears..

color and design works really good in daylight, in night its blending me hardly..

@TJA, I like your skin. It looks nice, like you said, simple and direct. I'm reading this thread for the first time and I can offer my opinion as to what happened here. I think that you may have come off a little too brash at first. First of all,

if i wanted it to look OEM, id buy the OEM nav kit. if i wanted it to look like an aftermarket head unit, id buy an aftermarket head unit.

That comment almost sounds like its foolish to make skins to look OEM or A/M head unit. Probably not a impression to give considering the number of people in here that skin just that way. Also, I don't think it's really the matter of you not wanting to release your PSDs, I think it's a matter of the way you said it. Had you said, "I really don't think I'll be releasing my PSDs and sorry for LHD but I'm not up to changing the skin around just yet" or something like that, you would been warmly welcomed with the skin I think. It would be like going to a sandwhich shop and having the guy behind the counter hand you your sandwhich and saying "..And not I'm slicing the roast beef any thinner and that's all the lettuce you're getting!" I hope you understand my point. That said, I don't think you should punish everyone just because you don't agree with how some people address you. Leave your skin up, its good. Also, If I may suggest, none of this stuff would work very well if we all simply shut out the needs of others and concentrated solely on our own, would you be able to design a front end? So, I urge you to consider accomadating those requests like the button movement that would enable the most people to benefit from your hard work, either that or release the PSDs and let someone do it for you. Just my suggestion.

Very nice looking skin. Although if you don't really plan on supporting or changing it, you really ought to consider releasing the PSDs.

I guess I coming from the open source world I don't understand people who don't plan on making money off of something, but don't want to release the source. Most skins can be modded just fine editting the JPGs, this one included, it just takes more time.

Its completely within your rights to keep them to yourself, it just seems silly. Keep up the good work though, very nice design.

Its very difficult to edit some skins from jpgs though, gradients and patterns etc. Also, it is SUCH a PITA to have manually edit a jpg for _off, _on and _down!!
