Thread: What to display?

    What to display?

    I'm making a new skin and I'm kind of stuck with the main menu, no idea what to put on the blank area above the logo/clock. Video, GPS, etc are all on other screens.
    What info/app/screen/whatever would you put in the blank area if you were designing?

    what resolution is that skin..... it looks pretty square, like 800X800 or something?

    don't have anything to add to your question though.....

    it 800x600, must be a trick of the eye with the vertical lines making it look taller..

    i had the same dilemma with my skin, i chose to leave it blank as i guess it will normally be on the mp3/gps screen anyway.

    wow, your right.. I just measured it.. but it looks square

    still can't think of anything for the display... maybe pc stats or something...

    that looks good, I still can't get over how square that looks... had to measure the new post again to be sure......

    Great looking skin!

    Maybe you can put some GPS info in the blank area. I also mis the volume buttons at the main screen.

    humm, seems like you have a lot of buttons missing on the main menu. Unless all you plan to do is gps,video,mp3

    i would make the buttons bigger

    For my personal use it's got everything i need, GPS, Audio, video, draw, and a misc menu where I can add the stuff I might want in the future
    Bigger buttons would mean redoing almost every screen, they're all based on the same layout
