Not sure if my net is being gay, but the above link wasn't working for me and the mirror it had forwarded me to adobe's V.9 release.

weird, it was working fine the other day. It doesn't work for me either now.

For some reason, when I go into the Audio portion of the skin, where I can see a list of all of my folders with music, it just locks up.

Why would that be?

I even uninstalled the latest version of WinAmp and installed the older version linked to in the original post.

Still doesn't work. it just locks up.

What could be causing this?

btw - this skin kicks *** as far as looks so far!

Red, you might have Flash player 9. Flash 9 breaks all flash skins.

I read about that, and I clicked the supposed update to put it to 8 but it just updated it to 9. I could have very well had 8 to begin with when it quit working.

There's no way to backtrack down to 8 is there?

Ok - so I found a flash uninstaller and uninstalled flash completely and rebooted.

then I came back to the Flash 8 link, downloaded it and ran the installer. It went through the whole status bar then nothing. now when I start roadrunner, it just sticks at the starting Road Runner splash screen (Starting WinAmp...) and just locks up.

What could be causing this?

And to boot, now my Windows bar at the bottom of the screen is gone and I can't get it back.

I can hit the Windows button to get the menu, but I can't see the bar.

Also, I've followed this thread: High CPU Load, Buttons Fail to Respond, White box / square around logo's

when RR launches it hides the win taskbar for a moment, if RR crashes anytime during the load, the taskbar will stay gone untill your successfully launch RR again, or reboot which ever comes first.
When RR hangs on "starting winamp" usually (at least for me) its because there are two instances of winamp running. If you check the taskman. If RR crashed previously, u prob still have a instance of winamp hidden or not responding.
This may or may not sound silly, but when you install flash make sure you do it with IE, you get slightly different versions when using other browsers.

you should have more info in your debug file also, it looks like its getting cut off.

ok - so I kinda gave up on it for now...sorry

but, I will say this. When I started RR and it would lock up, and the taskbar would disappear, I would just reboot. I wouldn't just Alt + Ctrl + Del and stop the process. I say this to answer the comment about there being two instances of WinAmp...

Maybe I'll take a few hours tomorrow and mess with it. Thanks for the help!!

regarding the debug file, that's all that was in there...promise!

I recall that i messed arount with some settings in the "music" section in RR´s config exe to make winamp dissapear when closing RR. Also uninstalled winamp 5 and installed 2.95
