Thread: SMS - Anyone got it to work in a skin yet?

cant speak for others, but for my skins, i kind of just gave up (put on hold) on the phoco section because of issues with the phoco intergration. I just kept asking myself, why am i doing this.

ditto...

i just leave an sms button in my skins in hope of speedy integration into roadrunner... but alas...

Hmmm. might just look at how phoco itself does SMS and design a screen to handle that.

i think the sms stuff works, i think there is at least one skin that i read somewhere has it working, but i think the issue is most people give up on the phoco sections as overall the intergration dosent work good. Along with other issues with phoco itself i think people arent motivated enough to really finish it. at least thats my story and im stickin to it.

while my enthusism (and available time) for this particular project is still about I will persue as many screens and things to integrate and skin. Then it will just be a matter of the occaisional tweak when something new comes along

The first MMI skin had screens with support for SMS.. I only tried it to verify it worked, then never seen any other skin with SMS support.

does anyone have the original mmi skin? i found btbe's one but that doesnt have sms support... and the links to it on guino's site and on the mirror site are dead. well actually there isnt even a mirror link to it on that site...

id love to integrate sms into my skin.. the only thing i cant work out is how to set up a text box to display the written sms in.. i can work out the sms lists and how to send etc etc...

perhaps a mini faq please guino?

I have to find some time to pack and upload a bunch of things to the site.. old skins and the CDRip stuff..
