can we have a "light" version without the ever changing color bars and such ? I love the flash effects, but I'd hope it to run a bit smoother without the large amounts of graphics changing.. the speed of the sliding controls and such is acceptable.

I scrapped the changing colours, the basic back colour doesnt change in real time..as u said took too much cpu power, so it just sets its colour by reading from the text file now and stays that colour. I will finish off the audio one tonight and make a start on the dir list.

Wow, this looks great. I can't wait for more updates and screens (SIRIUS PLEASE!!!)

I had been teaching myself photoshop b/c I liked but didn't love any of the skins that are out there now, but this might just make me quit and wait.

Edit: just went and clicked through your adsense links...

Do you mean it's going to be only one colour?

Just downloaded the audio screen demo. I don't know if it's my machine or what but it takes FOREVER to do anything (bring up menu, go through songs, etc).

    WOW That preview looks great!!!

I can confirm it work great on my home PC, but on the M10k, I don't know it will run this smooth...

CdR, I'd have a small request. Maybe we could choose between the album art picture (I don't really have that many of those...) and a spectrum analalyzer or a visualization plugin...what do you think?

Hi m8, the problem with any vis that is sits ontop of the flash, so the volume slider wouldnt work, and this defo cause lag, I have tried a small vis and this was the same.. saying this I will be putting a vis button on the main screen. The best I can offer is a loadable image say of your car logo / car that will show when a album image isnt there.

I spent last night writing a little VB app, this is going to be embedded in this skin, which will enable you to change the skin colour on the fly.. so if you want a diff colour you just goto settings, pick your colour and click SAVE, this then updates a txt file and also sends the command to RR to reload its skin.. it works great :-)

now just to do the rest of the skins.. :-)
