Thread: My first work (currently noname)

Looks nice. Its plain and simple. I would change the V+ and V- to something more like an Icon of a speaker with volume indicators. Just a suggestion.

In your sign i saw that you use GaroNav with RoadRunner: do you have the problem with the windows position? I can't find the way to move it....

The concept is bad honestly
points are:
the drop shadow effect on title
ultimate is a cheap word
aspect ratio of the earth is not correct
resolution is not right at the center picture i can count the pixels
the yellow outglow effect on bottom border is just too much saturation
specially with red and blue

cracking photoshop is not cracking the borders of your imagination
isn't it?

the concept of this work is to make a SIMPLE skin, without hundreds of buttons that i'll never use.
I've tried a lot of skins, and all are not friendly to use.
About the center image, i'll change it as soon as possible with one made by myself.

The first release of this work will be not so beautiful, but will be clear and useful (features that i did not found in any skin).

im afraid I have to agree, i dont really like the combintation of colours very much. theres simplicity and then theres stylish simplicity.

In all honest i dislike almost everything on the skin, however, Im impressed you've taken the time to try and make the skin, a feat which many dont even bother to try and they just end up settling on other skins. My advice is keep trying and playing about with photoshop perhaps do some tutorials to practice the type of things you can build with it. Because you can do anything under the sun and still keep it very simple.
