tissy, are you working on implementing this? the ones on your site don't exactly match.
Shouldn't be a conflict mate, however, i don't know anybody who is running 2 compasses to confirm.
As for them not working, have you placed the necessary labels on your skin as described in the installation manual for these modules. This is the most common reason for them reportidly not working. The PDF manual is downloadable from my site just underneath where you can download the zip files from.
Any more issue, get back to me.

hey Tissy, Great App. I'm having difficulty getting the gps features to work. Could it be due to having wrong settings in road runner for my gps mouse? I believe i've put the labels in correctly. Do they need to be set to certain cooridinates? sorry i'm such a newb.

What i normally recommend is when the labels are added to your .skin file, make sure initially that they are viewable. That way you can see that the speed / alt / heading readings etc are coming into RR OK. If they are always set as 0, then there is a problem with your GPS.
So in effect there should be something like this in your .skin file
/, L, x, y, w, h, color R;RGB, G, B, font size;FONT, font name, Code;LABELCODES, Tooltip;LABELALIGNMENT
L01,358,2,86,30,255,0,0,,,"GPSSAT",
L02,278,1,65,32,255,0,0,,,"GPSALT",
L03,148,2,112,32,255,0,0,,,"GPSSPD",
L04,0,0,134,36,255,0,0,12,"Arial","GPSHDG","CENTER "
Make sure you have the right COMPORT set under the GPS tab in the RR Config utility.
Any problems, get back to me.

thanks for the hand holding tissy! I pasted that exact text into my skin and they showed up at the top of my skin in red, so (after setting the gps com port)the gps is communicating with RR. I now have the speedo working but nothing else. Any idea why? and should it be GPSSAT or GPSSATS?

email me you .skin file mate where you placed the above text.
If your Speedo is working, then so should everything else as it uses the same data. I take it the clock and the other screens actually show up OK ?

woops my last post didn't quote your post.
i meant the implementation of sat. no.s and alt. on the compass.
don't let my reg. date fool you; 'lurker since '03.
Not really mate as you will find the images are small enough as they are using a 7" screen in the car, without all the same displays on the same screen.
I was in the process however of making a digital display with all three attributes on the one screen, ie time, speed and heading in degress.
Is this any good to you ?
