PS. Took the car for it's first "CarPC enabled" run today to see if everything worked.
Looks like the compass isn't doing it's stuff either.
Apart from that everything's fine.

PPS. Made a couple of changes (non clock related) and took the car for another spin today. Strangely, the Compass,Alt and Sat indicators are all now working... Weird!!

I've just installed the clocks into my skin and they are most excellent thank you for a brilliant piece of software.

But I have a problem on the odd occasion when I go to use my GPS software (Freedrive) it closes RR I am using or tried both xport3 and GPSgate. These little apps did solve one problem of not having any readings on the compass and speedo etc. As rr shuts an error box does come up but its so quick I don't get to see what it says.

Is this a setting I've missed? hope somebody can help me please

West Sussex, mmm, getting closer and closer to me all the time !!

Was everything working OK before you installed the clocks, or is it all a relatively new build ?

What skin are you using for Road Runner ?

Does everything work how it should, before you enter into FreeDrive ?

Thing is with these problems, it could be any number of things, so you need to post as much detail as possible.

Also, if you look in the RR, your skin and the FreeDrive directories, sometimes there is a debug.txt file or similar. This may contain what is causing the specific error.

Yes every thing works as it should before you enter freedrive. I do get the warnings for speed cameras etc. Sometimes I can get into freedrive and its fine another it closes RR. The only thing I will ask about this is when you switch to the compass it doesn't do anything until you move is this right?

Just a little up date on this, on the way home from work last night I went into the GPS screen and back out many times and it worked fine. The only difference between now and when I had the problem is that the computer is not connected to the network but I cant think its that. The other thing thats different is I had Timbuktu running so I could do some adjustments would this cause an error do you think?

Mine's the same. It was a bit disconcerting at first because the dial moves around the needle rather than the needle moving round the dial.
