hi Tissy, I am a beginner when it comes to flash. i found your site with the mph/clock swf and downloaded the subaru png,(great stuff by the way) but i dont know how to use the two together. could you explain? do i have to edit the swf itself? thanx for any help possible.

Could you please give me some info on how you get the speed data ?

Anyone know of a way to disable or make invisible the cursor? Right now when I mouse over the clock, I get a hand cursor; everywhere else in RR it's invis.

Any ideas?

Hey Tissy -

I think I found a couple of bugs:

-- if altitude is over 999 feet, it looks like the displayed value is truncated to 3 digits on the compass.
-- When heading due north, the compass is pretty much constantly rotating back and forth by 360 degrees, I'm guessing as the GPSHDG value switches between 0 and 360.

i know this dates back a few years...
but thanks Tissy these are great

only question, could you make a Km/h one that only goes to say 200Km/h.
to be honest if my car COULD go 280km/h i wouldnt be taking my eyes off the road anyway to look at the car pc. the speed limit here is only 100Km/h anyway

Yes, I go for that one too. The Clock is superp stuff, but a 280 speedlimit is overkill. My car has a theoretical limit of 155 KM/h. ( Citroen Saxo 55HP Diesel )

And the sourcecode would be lovely to have for future mods

I'm having problems with my flash logo. Had my carputer for about 1 year now and no problems until today when adobe ask me to update the flash player. I said yes cause it's been bugging me for awhile. Since the update my logo appears smaller.

How do I fix this? Can I resize yet? Been trying to fix this on my own for about 3 hours now with no success.
