@RoyN Thanks for the comments this is exactly the kind of input I am looking for from users. The skin is purpose built for the '05-'06 mustang gt and if you don't own one you probably won't like it. I will look into the playlist though mabye change to a different font or make the current font smaller to try and get more data in the window.
@MGD I hope I didn't put you off with my quick and short reply I was in a rush when I replied and ment nothing by it. Thanks for trying to assist a fellow member.

When I downloaded 5-2 it did that to me. guino fixed it the very next day
Well, still hard at work on this skin I have completed the Config screen so you now don't have to edit any files just go to the config screen first to set everything for the skin up. I will update the files when I get home from work in 3 weeks as I am unable to upload the files from here.

I have been toying with the idea of removing the menu screen from my skin all together. Now just here me out, the darn thing just doesn't seem to fit right in the skeam of things within the skin so I came up with this.
The skin will start in this screen.
When you press the menu button you will see this instead of going to the menu screen.
Pressing one of the buttons above rolls out another menu with more options.
The current pics posted are a bit rough around the edges. I will clean this up for sure before releasing it but I want to know what think. Chime in everybody. Do you think I am nuts or do you agree this would be nice instead of my clunky menu screen.
This is coming along quite well. I may be using Road Runner fulltime again if you keep up this badass skin.
Here's my setup, check it out.

That menu looks like it would fit in much nicer than your current one. Will it be customizable?

I have no plans to make it customizable. It just involves way to much work for me at this point in my meager experiance with skinning and the skins I have seen so far that are customizable lack a bit of grafical flare as the text of the button is just a rr label. Chime in on this tread (HERE) to let me know what screens you guys want.
Hi, Sweet05--
I really like this skin, and I'm at the point in my project where I am trying to make my CarPC software all work together with the hardware, including a frontend and a skin for it.
I would really like to be able to use this skin, so do you have any ideas of a timeframe as to when you think you'll have the additional screens ready?
If you have the .psd's, I'd be willing to work on them; yesterday, just fooling around, I replaced the two Weather screens in your build from the ones that are in the MC2.0 skin.
When I first placed them in there, I couldn't understand why part of the screen was being "cut off" on them, until I took a look at the sizes of them and compared them to yours--I had to resize the .jpg's from 800X600 to your size of 800X480, and then I had to go into RRSkinEditor and move/resize all the buttons so they were in the correct places after the resize.
It took me a couple of hours, but when I was done, those screens worked perfectly!
Anyway, let me know if you'd like some help on this, because I surely would be willing to try and get the screens working if you already had them laid out!
Thanks!
O.K. I made something similar a year ago and abandoned it because when I "escape" back to previous menu I had to hit the ESC key twice to get to the previous screen. For example to go from main to music, I would click menu, then music, then MP3. to go back to main the first escape takes me back to the menu and another escape would take me back to main. For me this was too much clicking around. Did you do something to get around this?Originally Posted by Sweet05
