In RR.ini chek for that line
hidedots=true
Change it to hidedots=false
Also check for
pathlimit=true
When you hit browse, it should go to your default directory
Has anyone seen this, or help me get out of it !
I pointed my Audio Browser to the CD drive to look to see if I can get the CD to autoplay. Anyway, the CD fired up, and Track01 etc was displayed in the System List area of my skin. The problem is I have no dots, or any other way to get back to the hard disk stored music !
Where does RR keep its persistant data ? Or how do I change the list to point at the hard disk again ?
Help . . . . . . .

Thanks MGD,
both are set correctly, hidedots=false and Pathlimit =true.
Any other ideas ?

Thanks for your help MGD,
I had to set a Browse button on my audio browser screen and keep it pressed in to go to the default directory, then add a BROWSE.RRL file in the Music Directory, and then add an SD box to the Browser page. This now lets me move back at will.
Cheers

Glad you figured it out. I have two browsers in my skin, one for HD and one for CD. I don't use browse.rrl at all. At the enf of the Audio_Browser.skin file I have SD,02,02,153,140,"C:\Music" and in the Audio_Browser_CD.skin file I have SD,02,02,153,140,"D:\" which is my CD-Rom drive letter. Now when I hit browse CD it goes to my CD-Rom drive and when I hit browse HD it goes to my Music library. Works like a charm.
Thats the way I was going to do it, but my Epia M10k isn't the fastest at changing skins, so I thought I would try one of the other approaches suggested in the forums, and thats when my problems started. I have wasted all day on trying to sort this one out !
What OSK do you use for your web browser? I am having trouble getting mine to work, but only on the web browser screen, the GPS is fine ! I am sure I am not doing something right, but what it is God only knows!
Thanks though for your input.
cheers
