Hrm seems to crash RR when I try to launch IG3. No hangs, RR just disappears and the process ends. Anyone else getting this?

It was doing it with my ig 2.1. And when I opened the skin in skin editor, skin editor crashed.

Well a fresh RR install cured all my problems. Old one musta had too much testing on it

Everything seems to be working great! You have done a great job. The only question I have is, did you finish the IG menus for this beta version? I still get the default IG3 menus. Or.. did I screw up during install?

The Menus for IG3 are not included in the skin. The are seperat menues and have to be modifyed in iGuidance with res hacker. That will take a while there are about 150 bitmaps to be replaced.

Updates are available in first post. Can't upload picture, I guess there is something wrong with this.

Forum has had an upgrade, they have 'accidently' left the default attachment limit in place. I'm sure they'll sort it out eventually.

MGD,

First loving the images - but really having some issues with the skin (and not sure if I should report them or not since I know you are in beta mode - and some of this I was going to dig into myself.) My RR install is super clean but just a few things:

- The IG screens never seem to open correctly (and seems like focus issues occur)... Also I like how you have the snapshot of the IG in a view to the right, and the compass/clock to the left - I never get to that screen.

- With the lates updates the contacts still does not work (interested in that one big time...) are u using a flat file DB or something?

- Audio Player (is there not a playlist - LIST - mode) or is that planned, I get iicons and can select an album but looks not add tracks ... I believe it says List Mode in the upper left but actually is an Icon Mode display.

I was hesitant to post because I know you are working on this but wanted to share input and appreciation for the work. Once this thing is glued together it is lovely. Artwork is so very very nice....

I will hang tight for updates before I step into any of the skin myself to work on anything.

Great stuff and thanks for bringing it to us.... I followed every step in your install as well..

1. Are you launching IG3 with iGLaunch? If so edit the iGLaunch.ini file and play with the delay times.
I don't remember a screen shot with IG embeded and the compass to show.
If you would like this, then edit "External_Gps_Small.skin" and delete the line
/, J, x, y, w, h
J01,15,89,175,221

and relace it with
/, F, x, y, w, h, Movie name
F,15,83,180,230,"RR Clock.swf"

For the Contacts to work you need PhoneControl.net. It is needed for the PhoneBook to work.

If you like to browse in LIST mode then run RRConfig.exe and deselect "Show Icons"
