'Freedom' skin beta progress (Flash Based)

the skin is 800 x 600, but does resize well due to it being flash. The release will be soon. I want to tidy up the bugs I've found (not too many) and finsh off a few more screens first. I have nearly done the weather and waiting on someone for the notes.. I have an idea about what I want to do with the mixer and its should be fun doing it, but that may come in V2.. I might just bundle MC2.0 mixer for now with a bit of flash on it. I will be doing a status screen which will show cpu / temp / fan speed etc at well.. again maybe in v2. I also want to expand the settings screen.. again a v2 thing prob.

So prob wednesday sometime I will try and get a alpha v1.0 release out. :-) this will include most stuff except phone / xm / maybe mixer.. will have to see how I get on.

Will be open for ideas / alterations then

That is some tight flash coding and your are again doing some slam testing buzzing thru those screens...... My guess is when you finally release it there should be a pretty solid comfort factor - its workin...

congrats cdr, very impressed with that interface; definitely, flash has opened up new worlds for roadrunner, with you and dinasty doing some great work.

looking forward to release next week, looks awesome Just a couple of questions :

1) Can visualisation be full screen ?
2) Can videos be made full screen ?
3) Will it support full screen dvd movies in the app ?
4) Map monkey still supported ?

1) Yes just double tap on the vis screen. I will also change the pageup / down buttons below the vis button to toggle vis next / prev when the vis is showing.
2) Yes in RRConfig, you can set the video to go fullscreen after so many seconds (default is 4 I think)
3) Only through Mplayer, I would suggest installing a 3rd party ap like windvd (which is supported)
4) Yes any GPS app is supported. I will be making a extra GPS screen for FreeDrive when I get round to it.

good news on the phonecontrol front.. got my dlink bluetooth adapter this morning and had a quick play and it seems to be working well, so I will be doing a skin for the phone as well :-) soonish as well .. maybe even before Wednesday

Hi CDR,

nice to hear that my suggest with the D-Link help you. I also played with the PHOCO more and more. And all I can say is, that the K800 works great with it. I really can´t wait to get your skin.
