Actually I have read pretty much all the thread.

And yes, I have seen that previously posted answer, and I have tried it. But it still doesnt work. All the buttons, images and functions are there, but there is no weather-info to show. I find it quite odd that this would just work but setting some rules in the rr.ini, as there have to be some kind of source where RR get's the info from, right? It feels like somethings missing

Freedom v2.0 coming 5th sept??? I guess I better get my *** moving on this XM screen :P

For those that use XM, do you care about the "Genre" on the channel listing? I somewhat do, but find the repetiveness annoying. I was thinking of using an icon or something.. any suggestions?

hey cdr, i think flash has different flags it calls for different actions on buttons
on(press,release,releaseOutside,rollOver,rollOut) or something like that, don t remember them by heart. I belive that the event 'release' only gets called only when you press the button and release on the same button, so gestures begining and not ending in the same place woudl work, other than that, you could have a flag pressed='buttonname' that gets set everytime a button is pressed, and on the button release you jsut check if the buton released is the same as the pressed one and maybe if there isn t any gesture recognized that has a high score. gestures in the most used screens would work for me i guess and for a lot of other users, the most used gesture being 'next song' so it could just be that only one working in the top part of the screen on all pages.
Anyway, i was just throwing ideas around, i hope no harm is done.Just mentioned this because i don t have any gestures whatsoever, is that normal?

Something I found after using this skin now for a few days, using the latest audio browser.swf, that being the one with the screensaver with a numeric clock. Whenever that screensaver comes on my cpu usage jumps to 100%. Now the screensaver with the dot based clock (on the main menu) does not peg my CPU. The regular screensaver jumps my cpu usage 15 to 20%.

Is there possibly a problem with the new screensaver causing such high cpu usage? I would think that the screensaver should really be no more cpu intensive than a regular menu such as the main menu.

Hope that explaination makes sense

I know u cant edit the first post anymore, but just a quick reminder about the play/pause status on oskbottom.swf part of the skin. As i couldnt find it referenced on the first post...

Also, are you putting together a powerdvd skin? Just want to know whether i continue hacking one up or not... lol

Another quick question is why cant roadrunner use winamp to play movies? its a real problem I dont know if It can be solved with this skin as my main form of media is music vids and I wish it could be handled like audio , eg shuffled

Thanks will take a look.. its not quite finished as yet the screensaver, but do u prefer it to the dots ?

Hi Kym, a powerdvd skin will be released with v2.0 next week, also the play button not changing, I have checked the swf flash code for the oskbottom and its fine, so if its not changing then its because its missing a status label in its .skin file.. like in the webbrowser it WAS missing so I have added it now.

Yes it does.. I will be revamping the settings screen LOTS to dynamicaly load a list of changable things.. lots of work might not make v2.0 we will see...

no idea.. ask Guino.. BUT... I will have a play with shuffling videos if that will help.. should be in v2.0
