Thread: 'Freedom' skin beta progress (Flash Based)

I'm using the rr.exe provided with the skin and I am running Flash 8 in the car... I'd love an external vga card.. but there's no room :P My PC is in-dash, behind my lcd :/

After using it some more, once the skin is already loaded it's not too bad. Bearable, however teh screensaver doesn't seem to work.

Also, I have some good news about the XM part... sending you a PM in a sec

I've got the SP13000 and the onboard vid has major issues running this skin... I put in a 128mb FX5200 and it runs at about 90% of the speed it's suppose to with the card... Hope this helps.

I have been spending all night revamping alot of my code.. as I noticed it was getting a bit laggy on my carpc.. I have removed afew effects and also redone ALOT of the main code.. it now flicks between tracks very fast and without any problems. I have also added a position track slider now, for those that load big playlists.. which I have also coded in :-) unsure if I will make the release date due to all this recoding and stuff I need to redo.. but its defo faster if it helps


btw.. the slider background aint finished as I'm not happy with it..

Hey CDR, let me ask you, what kinda mobo/processor do you have??

I'm running a Gigabyte S754 uATX board with a sempron 3000 in it.. came to about £90 in total I think.. including a boxed original + fan sempron.. :-) its never missed a beat and its got the nvidia 6100 graphics on it which is awesome.. + sataII but I aint using that with the 2 1/5 drive. All powered via a M2. Faster and cheaper than any epia board about.

ok the audio slider is all done.. two reasons for adding this..

1. Because playlists have been added it was taking ages to move up and down them.
2. When I get round to adding XM Radio, again the list can be quite long.

It lists the current track number from 1 to the length of the list.

O yeah it slides in and out and the track counter follows the slider level
