i havnt played with the new version yet, but looking at the screenshot i was wondeing why not make the zoom cover the whole area, you know for long file names?

lo peeps.. sorry not done much today, I will be looking at the filemanager again before the skins released. I have just knocked up a little vb app that will allow me to write to the menu.txt file from RR's Sendmsg sdk command. This should allow me to change things like colours on the fly and also save settings like screensaver on/off so you dont need to restart the skin. This opens up lots of new avenues so the setting screen will be accessed from ALL pages simply by clicking on the time. nothing graphic done as yet but I coded this little app to run on the skin start up, but it then checks every 5 seconds that RR is running, if it isnt it shuts itself down, so you dont have anything hanging around in memory :-)

Hi, i´m just in to say i really am in awe of the skills you posess. This skin is awesome. I really wish you all the best in finishing this since it´s the slickest skin i´ve seen all categories. Keep up the good work.

only had a couple of mins this weekend to do 'anything' its been my lads birthdays (1 and 3) so been sooo busy. Anyway I will crack on with this skin over the next few days and should have something by the end of the week. I am also hoping to build in support for a 2 x 16 Lcd display, which will show trackname, time, date, vol.. It may also show song time will have to see how I get on... I also want to make it scrolling

unsure to be honest. I will be supporting the HD44780 standard.. just 2x 16 and 2 x 20 for the moment.. I want to see if I can get them working right first, but could easily add in different sizes as soon as I suss out how to get em working :-). Just playing around with a settings screen at the moment. But its only a quick job, so I can get on and vb program the lcd component into freedom. I will also need to change alot of code on each screen so it works with the day/night colours and also changes them on the fly..
