Is there anyway to unload a LOADIMG ?

I know I'm not really answering your question, nor do I really know where you're going with this question so pardon me if I'm way off track, but what I did for your livetraffic program was create a button on my traffic cam skin that ran the livetraffic program, loaded a different/blank skin, then loaded the trafic cam skin again, therefore refreshing the images.

Thats a good idea! but thats not what i'm looking for in this function. I'm doing a new skin in flash but i want to be able to allow users to add buttons, labels and indicators on the fly. Just testing some ideas for this. Thanks for the help though steve. i will add that to my traffic skin

You can do another LOADIMG (this time with the original image).. this will virtually unload the image. You can also make a "blank" image to load in place if you desire.
