Thread: CrystalBlue Road Runner Skin

I worked hardly this weekend...
I was racking my brain about which kind of audio browser I prefer...
...I can't choice between three browser:

1. file list with large cd cover preview
2. cd cover list
3. art browser with playlist in the same skin for a playlist complete control

so I decided to implement all of them
Now is possible to switch to your favourite browser with visualization button, but as soon as possible the visualization mode buttons under time label will be active
Here there are the three browser, I hope you like them...

P.S.:I'll draw new folder icon soon...

great skin. youve got some nice photoshop skills. the only thing i would change is on your audio browsers. i guess its a slider. its the arrow near the top right facing inwards. it just looks out of place. i would go with something different

...there's a visualization button for switching through the three browser ( the one near stop button with the eye icon..)
but there will be three button which could show the present browser mode and will let you choose the mode you want directly.. ..if you can't wait to change in sequence..
These buttons are already made, I've got to fix just the .skin files...

you're right, in fact I added first of all the slider, made the .skin files, then I added the up/down buttons without modifying .skin so the slider comes across, I'm going to add command lines to .skin and fix it right now (probably if I don't like the final graphic result I'll try something different..).
I know, I should post just full-working skin-pictures...
...but I ended them last night, had no time to write .skin and can't wait to show them you :P

cant wait to see it in action. another thing you could add to your skin is the use of a quick menu for the audio browser. liquid_smokes skin has a menu that you can say press the button "QRST" and on the first press it will go to the first folder or file that started with a "Q", next press goes to the first "R" and so on. i use that more than i use the arrows. i would hate to be driving and want to listen to a band that started with an "S" and have to scroll all the way down.

another time... but this time goes to previous picture... you can see a button with a magnifying glass on a L (which stands for Letter)

P.S.:I like your comments, thanks for them... I post my works on purpose... they help me to build a better skin

I don't think so...
...I've just read all the tutorials,guides,etc.. I've found on skin making to exploit RR to the best I can...
and I think it's never enought!
