Popup Skin - Just Messing Around

After reading the Renesis thread from DiNASTY I was wondering how it would be to make a skin with a popup menu as the navigation. Since I don't know flash, this one isn't flash based like Renesis.

Well, I made the menu and audio browser skin. I am still working on the popups. I need a good background instead of the black. Also needed is some work on the colors, etc... The menu.skin layout is borrowed from LSX Void and most of the gfx are from Renesis.

Basically, you just hit the box in the lower left hand corner for the popup menu. Then you choose, nav, video, draw, etc..

If I just had some more imagination and photoshop skills.

I have to be honest, I like your skin even with black background...
...probably if I were in your shoes I'd apply a carbon fiber 3d effect to the background and set it fade levels so that it could appear like black...

For graphical skill... just begin and on the web you'll find a lot of tutorial...
try to start from downloading a picture you like (example a piece of carbon fiber or what else) try to reproduce a little part of it and multiply to have a large surface... then use layers to put between background and buttons...

I don't know if that could be usefull to you, I hope so... or at least I hope I make you take an interest in...
