:D :D :D
GREAT work on the script!!!!
Excellent!!! Thanks "Enforcer"!
Bump for new version.
Version 1.0.3 Now released.
Added check for missing .swf files.
Added check for redundant jpg,png and swf's
Added ini file with some of the RoadrRunner default commands against the .skin file they will call. ie AUDIO --> audio_player.skin
It will now list and jpgs, pngs or swfs that are in your skin folder but do not appear to be referenced in any .skin file. Note before just deleteing these files, do double check to make sure they aren't required. an example might be freefone.swf, as it is not referenced in the .skin fiels but freefone.exe uses it.
John, you might want to run this http://www.digital-car.co.uk/forum/i.../eusa_shhh.gif
what about an option to move that redundant files to a folder?
you maybe wanna talk to bluezx3... co-working on this would REALLY help his skin validation on the new RRConfig ;)
thanks for the last version of your skin checker.
after complete the simplistique application i found another one for checking.
is it possible to make a list of used FONTS ?
It's mainly to be used as an advisor.
Seriously though I don't think it's something to add to RRConfig, it's mainly to used by skinners before they unleash their masterpieces to the world with missing graphics, screens or just having too much left over ***** from previous versions.
ALso can be used by anyone attempting to hack someone else's skin about. ;)
Having said that, if people are using the /Define function for their fonts, it could make it interesting. Hmmmmmmm
i know it's most for skin developers
but that would be helpfull even for them to move files found redundant to a choosen folder within skin folder
a prompt asking BEFORE doing it and a window to choose location would do the trick and no file would be lost
the work with RRConfig would save bluezx3 from some extra work
he could just call your app and get a return code with the state (invalid or missing file - the others are irrelevant to config)
i'm just trying to bring things together and make all the great parallel jobs to be used in all it's potenciality
Saved me a lot of head-scratching! Thanks.
