Nice find m8!
ok, I have been skinning in flash for a bit, and when I first started you needed to include the label ALBUMART which holds the current path to the picture and also a J,0,0,0,0 or something similar to make sure the ALBUMART label was populated.. now I dont know if / when / how Guino changed it but if you have the J,0,0,0,0 in your skin file then it causes serious lag.. when using flash skins.. , This will most likley effect all my Flash skins including MC2.0 .. Simply delete the J line from the .skin files and you will notice a 50% increase in speed.
:-)
Its taken me about 4 hours of debugging and messing about to find what the problem was.. so I thought I would let others know.

Wow this makes flash skins usable at last!

It's probably because it's trying to resize/draw the image at 0,0,0,0 .. However, I don't believe that was ever needed if you didn't plan to display the album art.. or maybe it was at some point and I improved it not to need it anymore.. either way it's been awhile.. but still good to spread the word![]()

CDRSkull - I applied this tip by guino to your XEON skin & it improved performance a LOT. Makes it very usable on my carpc.
Flash in Road Runner
"I remember adding an option to make the Flash object "SOLID" which allowed it to be much faster while embbeded in RR. The transparancy is what tends to make Flash slow down, but (sometimes) also allows for cool looks and integration between the skin and Flash.
EDIT: Just add ,SOLID at the end of the normal F definition"
CDR - You might want to post this on DC - I know there are quite a few RR users there too.
