preview of my first skin " limelight"

this is a preview of a skin im working on
its my first , in the center ima trying to get a clock but when i used the skin editor to put a flash file in it doesnt show up so i have to find a way to do that

mainframe is based on the cfx skin

but i went i with a very minimal look with less buttons

looks good. I think the text should be a bit bolder.

I like your graphic design skills, but you seem to have two menus (LHS and centre - why?) it doesnt make any sense.

maybe think about what you want first, how it will be laid out etc, scribble each screen down on an A4 sheet, and only then have a go at the Photoshop stuff.

the left menu is visible thru many of slides of the skin ie gps, tv, mp3, apps, it will be what ties all the slides of the skin together, the one in the centre is the main menu when the front end just starts

Nice, but I think you need more contrast between the background and text or it may wash out in the car.

ok i got the clock working, might have to change it to a different design, and i bolded up the text a bit

Ummmm.....

don't like the clock.......

Seems out of place on a fairly clean skin, getting kind of cluttered. But I prefer the minimalist approach anyways. Just me, it's your skin bro, do as you like!

Clocks to me are worthless. Especially in flash. RR has a time label you can add if a time display is wanted.
The status box at the bottom where it displays stop and other stuff seems to be a little squished along with the song title running in to it. Maybe creat a border around it and use smaller fonts. This would clean that up pretty nice I think. Otherwise keep rockin' it

I can do you a custom version of my clocks where you can change the colours etc to match your skin. I can also remove the out ring if you don't want it.
