Thread: nRoute skin (in progress)

sorry people, i had to go to durban for the weekend.

ok, after playing for a while i found that to get a OSK that is see through is the best way to see the find window. that part is easy. the hard part is that the map window of nroute updates its self on every find. so when you press find it shows the location on the map and brings that part of the window to focus, if you press the down arrow on the keyb it will scroll through you find list, but the map window stays in front and it updates with the new location.

i have tried every way round loading the find window, but the map still wants the focus. i think that this is a part of nroute and i can't see a way round cos the nroute main window consists of about 10 differnt window classes but some with the same name. so the only way to do this, if possible would be to embed the map window so you can bring the focus back to the find.

still trying, lets see.


sorry, read backwards after posted. alfash, the problem i am trying to fix is the find window losing focus. this is only because when i get that working the osk looks like a matter of getting the ini file right. time consuming, but should be easy. if we can't get the find window problem fixed the osk is the least of your worries. try without the osk, leave it onscreen and just use you keyb, when you press find you should loose the find window under the map. let me know if you get the same problem.

ok attached is a keyb to play with. it has the ini file aswell. if you are using the dir i sent you then just replace in the igenterstreet dir.

ALFLASH this might also help with your problem.


p.s. this is a quick OSK just to do some testing, if there is a problem with it let me know.

thanks for moving.

let me do some work on it first, only because it is not in a usable condition. i need to create some graphics. the ig skin that came with i just changed the use of the buttons to use the skin to test, had enough of not having nroute in RR.

Still looking to fix the problem with the find window loosing focus, but to get by for now i have added cursor keys on the keyboards so you can scroll through the finds.

Apart from the focus problem i think it is almost finished, I hope, let me know.

got any idea how to get rid of the nroute warning message in the beginning.
guess you could have an idea 0l33l suggested using Autoit. Do you have the script for it??
