I've got a Car-Pal by Vital Engineering that's been kicking around since 2005. Anyone know what happened to the company making these? and are they compatible with any of the new OBD2 Scan Tools available for ether Blackberry, iPhone, or Android?
I cant find any of the original documentation that came with this. i know i did have application for my Garmin iQue M5 that worked well with it but that device died a while back.
Vital Engineering sold its product line to BluTrax. You may want to contact them to see whether they will offer support.
Your unit will not work with the iPhone, since it uses Bluetooth. It may work on the Blackberry or the Android, as long as the apps support it.
