    Whine...

    Boot

    Good, the next thing I was going to tell you to try was to recover windows...might wanna run a scandisk on that drive. Boot sectors don't just disappear for no reason.

    G/L Isolater

    I assume you have no room to install it in the glove box...how about behind the radio?

    Can you boot in safe mode by pressing F8 at startup?

    Groud....

    Start by regrounding. And I would ground to the frame, not the battery...use some sandpaper to ensure you are getting a good ground on whatever frame screw you choose. Then buy a ground loop isolater...

    Boot problem....

    You just posted on mine. I have the M1200. I had a similar problem. With mine it was fixed when I did away the the HUB. Also, make sure you don't have any drives connected (i.e. USB)...
