Yeah, have you seen the post by Shariff at Forged Internals? A customer let him, just for the hell of it, tear the engine down on his brand new Z roadster. The only thing left on the engine currently are the heads and the rotating assembly. They said it is a much more potent and stout engine. And they said it apears they left room for turbos to be bolted up...so this may be an easy engine to boost. I actually traded in my '05 for the '07 just for this reason lol.

That is one of the points of the HR, that it is already a more solid block, stronger than older VQ35. Also, it already has twin intakes! Sweet!

Yeah, can't wait to see what companies come out with for this car. Test pipe and an exhaust put 18 extra HP to the wheels. That is a LOT more than those same mods did to a DE.

yea, the HR seems like a beast of a motor to work on, should be interesting to see what comes out in upcoming years what're your plans if F/I becomes avail. sooner, rig up a SC or go with a kit for turbo?

Of the two I prefer turbo. I had an '01 Eclipse GT that I bought in '01 that I supercharged, that belt was a PAIN. I constantly had it slipping and when that belt slips it feel like you hit a wall. Almost like you just turned the car off it bogged so bad. You had to tighten that belt so tight that I kept bending tentioner bolts and then the belt would last a littl ebit before it started to slip and belt dressing would give it maybe 500 more miles before it started slipping again and then you needed to replace the belt. I hated it lol. I would rather deal with excess heat of a turbo more so than a belt ever again lol. This is just my opinion, I don't want to start a turbo vs. super thread.

    Nice job, but some questions

I've just purchased my 07 350Z Touring. I noticed you replaced the head unit; did this also kill your Bluetooth integration in the car? I'd like to keep the Bluetooth functional, but add a CarPC. Also, did you remove the subwoofer behind the driver's seat?

I guess I have about a hundred questions, really. Hope you don't mind me nagging you a bit!

Mine is an Enthusiast. I didn't have bluetooth and a bose system so I lost neither The only thing I lost is the use of the volume and power controls on the stereo from the steering wheel.
