    My second carputer...

    Hi every one. This is my second carputer so far first one was installed in citroen Saxo and was not so much special. This time im puting alot more efort.
    First of all spec. and bits:
    CARPUTER:
    VIA EPIA EX 1500MHz
    1GB DDR2 RAM
    160 MAXTOR 3.5" HDD
    SB Live Value
    M2-ATX 160W
    USB WINTV USB
    USB BT
    USB GPS
    USB WIFI
    USB HUB
    Wireles Logitech gamepad
    labtec usb cam
    custom made USB controler(mouse + alps RKJXT1E 4 way)
    7" lct touch screen (could be better )


    SOUND:
    Focal FP 5.500 x1
    SUB focal polyglass 27V1 x1
    Speakers focal polyglass 165V1 x 2 pairs
    3.5mm to rca x2

    carputer

    I have decided to fit my carputer in front glove compartment. Made bracket from old PC case to fit MB PSU HDD. Here's some pics

    PSU cable

    had to make another psu cable cause the one which came with M2-ATX was to short

    Controller

    Here is my MOUSE+ALPS controller. This will be used with autohotkeys. Learned how to manufacture PCB's

    Above the carbuter i have placed blue neons, 2 x 10cm and made window at the top of the glove compartment insert:

    Amp box

    Have made AMP box from plywood + some carpet. still need some acrilic to fit window. Inside 2 x 12" red neons flashing by music. Here is the box (let me know what you think)

    Looking good.

    For that window though, will that be visible? Or just so that the neons can make a glow around the box? Because if it will be visible, they make acrylic glue that is clear and wont show that mess around it...

    Hej. No, wont be visible at all unless someone will bent in half . As you said its for neon glow on mobo, ram etc.
