case will be mounted under where the cupholders now are. DVD will be replacing said cupholders.

made some good progress on the DVD

this piece probably took us 3 hrs to finish up - got the curves just right. This is also probably the one piece where I learned the most from the old man

and the rest:

test fitting in the truck (might have to adjust the angle or do some more trimming to get it all to fit right)

flush mounted for the DVD:

That looks great. I really like the mount for the DVD player. I'm trying to find space for a slot load dvd-rom in my dash. If you have any suggestions or tips, I'd love to hear them.

got some milkshake goodness done this afternoon:

and it all done -

since this was our first time working with the milkshake, we took our time. Unfortunately we didn't add enough hardener and it was taking too long to set up. So since it wasn't setting up fast enough, no greenstage sanding. We've got the other pieces to do and now that we know what we're doing, we'll try that tomorrow.

The one thing I've found is that taking my time and paying attention to details is key. This build project has probably been going on now for close to 6 months!
