that looks like it would fit well. I would try to make that center panel removable, then dock the fujitsu in the dash with the screen facing foward, then pop the panel over it. when it's closed it looks built in, & could be left built in indefinatley, but then open the face (hinged maybe?) & undock the laptop for maintanance or remote use... if that fit that's one way to aproach that, theres definaley enough room to fit it in by butchering it up like I did mine too, but docked & intact would be easier if it fit.

I'm doing a little mod that's not pc related but cool, figured I'd show it here

the fx comes with one hid projector for low & high beam, it's a bi-zenon, in the it has a shutter inside for high beam. then theres this stupid looking squarish lens on the inner edge that houses a parking light.... I don't like it too much & thought replacing it with another bi-zenon would be cool

should be about 4300K.

not sure what I'm going to settle on, I might do 6 or 8k's in the low beam & 4.3k's in the high beams. I'll try different things & see, I might likethem better both the same too.

I'm doing custom yellow fogs with 3k's... also hid.

you gotta see what a truck looks like with 3 sets of hid's going at the same time. I did the escalade like that & with all 3 going & standing half a block away, it looks like an aircraft landed... it's BRIGHT!!! luckily this fx has aimable headlights up & down with a knob on the dash, so I can turn it down & keep the shutters down normally, but when raised & the bi-zenon is activated, sick

Do you have any thoughts on how to improve the headlight on a 97 T-bird? They absolutely suck. I was thinking maybe throw some cheap projectors into the stock housing. Maybe new housings with HID retrofit bulbs?

I thought you couldn't add projectors to stock housings because it'd introduce unwanted glares or reflections to oncoming traffic. I'd love to fix up my camaros crappy headlights.

You don't want to add HID's to stock housings due to the reflector not having a sharp cutoff, but projectors in the stock housing is fine. It gives a better beam shape. An HID projector retrofit would be ideal, but it is the most expensive. I just wanted some better lights without spending a lot. I'll have to figure something out.

I have several threads about projectors in the 98+ camaro housings. That works real well.
