if the 9-5 estate uses an electric shift manual mode then yeah, you might be able to do it.

One question, weren't you thinking about red led around the HIDs? Did you ditch that plan?
I ditched the red because it windedup looking funny with the amber parking lights, it kinda looked more like a traffic light than a headlight & I didn't like it.

any good primer should do, but a primer that's specified for bumper repair is the best thing to use really.

I am into lowriders and/or street/sport trucks so air suspension is a must. After I seen your work I stumbled onto this custom job with Universal Air Suspension. I think you may have seen it on the FX 35 forums. Your FX would look awsome if you put the air ride on it. There is no cutting or welding. It just replaces your stick suspension. Check it out at www.universalairsuspension.com, if you haven't heard of it already.

But honestly I am waiting to find a really cheap H2 Hummer and do something similar to to the H2 pic below the FX pic I posted. I know most people think it is totally retarded to slam an H2 but if you look closely at the low profile windows and smooth lines of the truck especially when the door handles and rear bumper are shaved and all that ridiculous black plastic is taken off, the H2 becomes a very unique street truck. Plus hardly anyone drives them off road anyways unless they totally replace the suspension with something a little more extreme. Then eventually I may try to convert it to electric one day if I can't squeeze some better gas mileage on it.

Oh by the way, where did you get the Fujitsu touch screen? This thread is so long that I didn't read every page. Great job on the truck.
like anik said, got a fujitsu tablet on ebay. I checked that link but see no bolt in kit for the fx? that fx you pictured belongs to a guy in cali, viet. I know that car & the owner, that is one sick ride for sure, he's got a built twin turbo setup & runs high 12's with it, it's rwd not awd though. he does a lot of shows, those 26's it's on in that picture are loaners for promo from falken & he was in there booth at sema, the fx can barely be moved on them, he rolls on 22" hre's normally & he drives it on the street all the time, beautiful custom he built there for sure. I really like it but I want something a bit more low key, I think i'll save the air suspension for a showcar instead of my daily driver

I did my dual exhaust, stillen 2 1/2" full dual with an x pipe... haven't gotten around to installing the headers yet though, they look like a lot of fun to install... it's kinda loud but not too loud, hope it isn't too loud with the headers :P

I was bored labor day weekend, so I decided to finally build myself some foglights. ideally, my thoughts were to use a hid bi-zenon projector., also motorized like the headlights. well I spent the weekend with my bumper cover off & cutting & making room, chopping apart a pair of headlights, I was able to do just that. these foglights will also be level adjusted from the dash, & also have a high & low beam mode. the lens is yellow but I'll still use a pair of 3k hid bulbs fore a very yellow light. I also did a fluted chrome ring around the projector & surrounded that with brite white leds too. I still need to finish welding & sealing up the plastic box housing & then mount them. with the bumper on they look just like normal 4" round fog lights.

these pictures are with just the leds on, no hid. these lights can go from just a soft glow to some insanely bright yellow fogs on high beam & aimed up with just the leds they got a nice bright glowing look...

the last shot is the lightbox before final welding...

How does one ration his time as to accomplish so much in so little span?

Everything looks amazing with the exception of centrafuse with the stock skin in the dash. Everything matches so nicely with your lighting scheme I am surprised to see a skin that looks so out of place in the dash.

I would be adjusting the colors of a custom skin one increment at a time until I got the perfect match for the dash lighting.

This thread almost makes me want to start a bad *** infinity skin just for this car!

your right, but when it rains this thing is shaped like an egg, even the slightest cracking of the window open & it's niagra falls, as a smoker is was a somewhat reasonable comprimise. I do want to change out all the window trims to the chrome ss ones, then they'll really have to go. someone makes these that slip into the window weatherstrip as opposed to sticking on the outside of the molding, if I ever find those I would get them...

dude, your right, I really need to build a skin, & accomplish so much in so little time? I feel like it's taking for ever to finish this thing

I would love to spend some time on the software & really get the pc all there, skin & periferals all set, I still have mitch's cable for the hd radio & the tuner, but I just haven't had the time, eventually, after the supercharger is in & the tuning is all done I'm going to really try to work on the software & pc perfecting, which it needs a lot of. I mean it does everything I need, just not as custom & user friendly as it should be.... also the last time I built a skin for cf it was a mission & 1/2, I'd have to really spend a lot of time getting back into it... hopefully soon...
