I already lost most of the lettering on both sides, only reason there still there is I didn't need to sand the center yet at all, but they will go.

not 100% sure what I'm going to do to finish this off really yet, not sure how I could redo the lettering & not have it look like ***

I tried plastic welding once... but it was really old, strange plastic off of an old laptop... It worked for a while, but it wasnt all that great.... nothing like this!

I *think* you can get lettering that is made like those decals in those little model car kits (the ones you dip in water and they slip off the sheet and then when dry adhear themselves fairly permenatly in place). If done carefully, they can come out looking real good. But if it were me, id leave it slick and clean.

if you want the lettering in tact (would be sweeeeet) you can either get the testors kit:

and print your own (the sheets are clear or white, I'd use the white, and print black outlines, leaving the white letters as if it were blank.) Then after it's dried and bonded, a few coats of clear gloss (or satin if that's your thing) and you're good.

Or, you can try and find a shop that can cut the letters out of vinyl, but being so small it would be very hard to do.

I think it'd be fine to leave it all black. There's not really a point to label all that. You know what it is, that's what matters.

I was watching the DTS install, because I was curious how you would do everything, I am looking at a 99ish STS with the same head unit... oh well...

I might play around with some lettering, but if it doesn't look perfect then it'll kill it... well see

a few shots of the outside finishing up... this black pearl is so beautiful, I just love it, can't help staring at it, this really came out pretty, I feel like a kid with a new toy
