Hey I was wondering if you knew of a kit to install a similar screen above the factory stereo location instead of in place of it? I would like to keep my factory "double DIN" and put a small LCD above it. I'm willing to replace the entire bezel, I was thinking a factory naviagation bezel but I have been unable to find one. My car is a 05 Altima
No, I don't. But I think someone in here did it a while back, check out this thread:

So long for the carputer!
It's been 3 years now, and it's been running great so far. Never had any major problem with it (touching wood).
I am selling my car today for a 2010 Nissan Altima, I removed the carputer and put everything back the way it was.
I will be getting another carputer for my new car. I haven't seen any carputer for a 2010 Nissan Altima on the forum, so looks like I will be the first.
So look out for that project.. coming soon.
good luck with the new ride![]()
MY NEWEST INSTALL:modded infiniti fx with big screen
first windows carpc install........my liquid cooled LVDS screen :D
Nice install! I found this searching for Z5500 as this is what I'm planning on using as well. Glad to see some great usage and warm fuzzies for it in the car!
Do you by chance have any pictures of the speaker locations/how they were mounted?
