Thread: 2005 G35 Coupe Install

- How hard was it to install the LCD into the mp3car housing?
- How is Xenarc 700TSV? this is the touch screen?
- you say that the lid isn't flush to the dash. how big is the gap?
- how did you wire the sound to the stock HU?

- mp3car installed my Xenarc screen into one of their housing units. If you have all the parts, they will do the work if you pay them for their time. If you talk to them, I am sure you could work something similar out.

- its ok. it has a lot of glare once in awhile. Its bad enough that with my polarized sunglasses on i can't read the screen when in the worst light conditions. Otherwise its a great screen for resolution, color, and general brightness.

- i didn't say that, someone else did. what he meant was that in the above pictures the top of the screen is higher than the top of the lid that is flipp d open. however when the screen is tucked in the cubby, the lid shuts flush just like it does OEM. Also, the passive volume knob fits inside the ashtray unit and it flips back to flush as well. So all in all, when everything is hidden away, it all looks stock.

sorry to bother you but just got couple more questions...

- What is navone line amp, and pac aai-nis2?

- If im going to just add a garmin blackbox navi., and a dvd player, how would i wire the sound to the stock HU?

a navone line amp amplifies the voltage on the line. the pac piece lets you plug two RCA inputs into your stock head unit.
