First off, the car
LCD Finally in place! Lost those small plastic covers in the process, though :P
OBC is moved up to where the CD player once was.
My shelf with all the gear! Got a Rockford Fosgate amp on the left and the OPUS Case with some improvised vibration dampers on the right.. The shelf is made of MDF and is attached by some steel-brackets that is riveted to the car. It looks kinda messy back there with all the cables, but I prefer to blame it on the camera flash
The trunk at a distance (the car is usually not that dirty)
My GPS
... invisible! Its liek made for it
Testfitting the LCD on my bezel. Its made from the original sunglass-holder which I cut in half, and filled the "gap" with fibre glass (lost the fab. pics from that one)
The 8" LCD is actually too wide for a "simple" fit...
The relay that switches the LCD on. Located under the steering column.
More (unsorted) pictures here for those who is interested; http://www.xploremedia.no/pub/carpc/fab/
Nice.
Do you still have the HighLevel Brake light in there working?
Hmm, I've been thinking of putting mine in there but was waiting until I fitted the rear spoiler (which has a brake light) so I could do with out the bulb in it.
Might try sticking the GPS in there over the weekend and see how it goes.
Okay.. Well, there is plenty of room back there - not only behind the brake light housing..
The GPS get its signals anyway.. :P
i was gonna put my gps in there too! but now, with everyone else doing it it wont be an "original" idea so must find another BETTER place to put it
By the way, Enforcer..
Could you please share the RGB color codes for your idrive-theme/skin?
Seems you've matched the interior colors *very* good![]()
