Hello...this is my first post on this forum,and i'd like to

to all!

from what i've seen most members have their on carpc,so...i join this communitywith hope that i will finish my project

Because of the low budget i only have an 5"LCD display mounted in my car
i used plastic pice to make the board

i think that was easy...because i must build the computer...already purchased the video adapter(Geforce2mx400..64mbram) , a cheap soundcard(genius with cmi8738chipset) , a dvdrom, a touchpad from a laptop that i've rewired to work on a ps2 port , 512mb ddr400 and one UPS that will be used as an dc/ac inverter.
I must find a cheap motherboard+processor,the ATXpower supply then i can build the pc
Do you think it will work?

p.s. excuse my english skils...the launguage i learned in school was french

i have a small problem...my HU is a Pioneer deh 6700...it's only aux in is for the cdchanger...how do i trick the player that it has a cd changer unit so i can use te auxIn?

finaly i have all the pieces

now i wait for the plexyglass to arrive(the romanian post office sucks) so i can start the fabrication of a case

should i use watercooling?

Use the CD-RB10 Aux adapter from pioneer. It changes the p-bus cable to RCA inputs.

kind of hard for me to find that adapter here in romania...i'll try to see if anyone from here got something from ebay to give me a little hand

the os is ready installed on the 40gb hard drive,i have cAVE and streetdeck installed;
btw...where can i get street deck for free...

because of some difficulties...now i have an intel P4 (2.4ghz) instead of the amd...

today arrived the gps receiver...hope it will do enough...
