i am using roadrunner as my front end. and so far it seems that i am the only one finishing a project like this. all the other ones i have seen havent had any recent updates.

my future plans are to get a audigy nx and make a center channel and a sub box that has a factory look.

how do you like that s10 blazer??

I've only got to drive it a week till the motor blew. then deployment. finally got the blazer done. its nice. I'm decking this thing out to as luxurious as possible.

well heres my update. i got my 99 bravada dash bezel in today. and those are DD stock. so i hot glued my screen housing in and put my screen in after the hot glue dried. (dont worry, its not staying like that) its grey and matches nothing with my interior. ill be painting that black later. well i turned on my screen as a test, and its now only a blank white screen. not even the osd works. im kinda worried. im going to make a post on this and search about it. if its toast, then il gonna buy another one. the housing is already in the bezel, so y not make the fabbing easy? here are my pictures of it.

at first my screen was white screen of death. that was due to me not cliping one of the ribbon cable clips down. it works now! i am so damn happy! looks like my blazer is the only one becoming complete. with pictures and millions of dumb and newb questions to prove it! now its picture proof time!

heres my update. the stuff i used to secure the pc in the exact place i wanted it. this stuff confored to the exact shap and dried that way so it fits in perfectly. heres what i used:

the begening process. i used foam blocks that my pc came with to set it at the correct level so it sits flush with the opening.
they arent pictured, but u can see where they used to be. once that shape was the way i wanted it
i put the pc upper shell into its fitted spot and foamed it a bunch more to conform to its shape.

here is how it looks cured and the pc shell not in place. perfect! just perfect!





here it is after i covered the pc and foamed it to make a bottom mount. it didnt cure correctly because i fell asleep and woke up at 830 thinking it was morning and took the bottom layer off. it had only been about 4 hours since i layed the foam down. it takes 8 hours to cure.



so ive got it sitting in my bathroom with the heater vent on so it can cure correctly. better than a cold bathroom, outside or in a garage. oh, i covered the entire underside between this foaming and my first set so its a removable shell i can trim later to allow for ventalation. and to pull the pc out to upgrade later. there really isnt anything to upgrade on this one now. its maxed out. foam is drying and not going to touched till i wake up later tomarrow afternoon.

this is my first fabrication and first carpc, so im trying to make it look as professional and flawless as possible. here are some more random pictures of my fabrication for the pc.....
