Hey did you get any interferance on your screen?
I have black wavy lines on my vga screen and on my headrest tv's and it's shaky and also slight engine whine.

I have mine just like yours, 8" vga and headrest tv's on the composite out. I have a usb hub under the glove box. Please help and thanks for inspiring me. I plan to get an 80mm fan now.

I'm not getting interference at all. Make sure your video drivers are current and all the wires a plugged in tightly. Sometimes if it's loose it may cause the things you described.

As for the engine whine you can troubleshoot it by reading the following:
