OK. I'm bored as hell just waiting for the warm weather to get here. So i started on the sub rings. got it all built-i lowered the height of the original rings. stapled on the fleece so now i'm trying to see if i can do the glassing inside with some fans for ventilation. i might have to wait...

and yes the fleece does look just like a bee costume

so check out page 7 on my sounddomain site if you want

i'm finally getting somewhere this summer. i added some more pics on pages 6 & 7. i'm almost ready to start the fiberglassing. undercar neon and tranformers are installed. i just ordered the interior neon to accent the eq's, computer and ps, power distribution and neon transformers. installed the surround processor and irman eye where the digital clock was.

MAAAAAAANNN! Just checked out your setup for the first time and OMG! Where the hell do you start with a project like that!

You must have had a lot of snowy days up there with a pad and pencil!

The setup looks fantastic and I cant wait to see your final Pics.

God Daymn! what I would do to have the money to even contimplate a setup and project like that!

All the best with the rest of the project! will be watchin with o_O eyes!!

Windows XP doesn't allow direct PARALLEL PORT manipulation (which is what your VB program is probably doing)...

albysure - have you looked at gutting the receiver for your IR keyboard/mouse. I actually have that very same model and I was using it for an ill fated HTPC project. It's pretty easy to break open, I desoldered the IR receiver component as well as the LEDs. I soldered on LED headers for the LEDs and added 6 inch extensions from thin gauge wires so I could mount it flush with my faceplate. It would be invisible apart from the small receiver component, and would work just as well (or much better if you mount it high with clear sight lines to much of the car)

    Just a thought,

wow! i hate to shoot you down on your first post here but i'm doing just that. my updates are on the last two pages. i mounted the irman eye to the left of the surround processor. the keyboard eye i think will be overhead--i just don't have the room for it in the dash. thanks anyway.
