haven't posted for awhile. installed most of the extra stuff i bought over the winter. i posted some pics on page 9. computers in and running-going to power up the amps today. my usb 2.0 to ide adapter works great dvd now in the dash under the front screen. should have more pics after today

    more to do:
lcd screens in each front door-switchable power on/off
installed vga splitter for the 2 screens front & rear
adding an air temp sensor for the computer compartment
    much more to come

note: summer is my only time to work on the car so this is my 3rd year building after abut 2 years planning--hoping to hear it soon

    Thumbs up

Thanks for the update. That is an incredible amount of attention to detail. Shame you don't have more time to finish it all at once, but I really have to commend you on not just 'slapping it together'. You'll have a fantastic piece when it's finished.

Holy mother of...! That is one intense install. You have obviously put a lot of time and effort into this. It looks like the equipment is worth more than the car! Great job. Can't wait to see the finished pics.

thanks guys. my main problem is that i keep buying more gadgets then have to take the time to install them. the latest being an air fuel gauge and an air temp gauge for the computer compartment mounted on a double pod on the pillar which now is taking up the space where i was going to put a tweeter. also this year my gps doesn't seem to work under the dash plate-i mounted it where the factory center speaker went-so now its sitting on top of the dash. didn't like it at first but i guess i do now. the receiver picks up real fast now

Wow. Man just when I thought I was putting too much work into my truck I realize that maybe I'm not putting in enough. Looks great so far.

Wow! youre still working on it! LOL.

Remember me from a couple years back? I have/had a 86 lancer 2.5 turbo. Parted it out recently in favor of the dodge diesel.

Looks good man, glad to see it getting done!
