    how did you guys get the metra adaptor to fit? i tried it my housing and it doesn't quite fit. i'm wondering if the US vent panel is a different shape/size to the euro model?

    the metra adapter fit nicely on my vent.
    but some modification required to make the monitor fit the adapter.

    anyway, I got the computer installed.
    Pictures soon, as soon as I can find my digital camera from all those moving boxes

    is there any progress to this carpc, interested to see, as i also have a corolla. And im ordering the metra dash kit also.

    that looks fkn awsome! love it, wish mine could look like that except in Australia, the stereo surrount is slightly different so the Metra kit i ordered from US didnt fit, What front end is that?

    I used road runner with digital fx.

    looks great!

    I'm doing the same, but also puting a cd player in the storage compartment under the AC controls (that part is already finished).

    Got a quick question: How did you go about powering the monitor, and what did you do about the power button?

    I wired a cable back to my m2-atx.
    power button and all other buttons for the monitor? move it to the top of the monitor case and tape it in there.
