Sweet RidgieMac!
The Mac is in the center console. I'll snap some shots as soon as I get the DVI-VGA adapter I ordered as right now it looks pretty messy...
BTW, I didn't want to say anything without his permission, but HUGE props to turbocad6 for the fabrication on this install - he took a few random pieces I sent and sent me back this factory-looking bezel. His work is top notch! Thanks, turbocad6!
Nice Install!
What are you using as a frontend? I see "Coverflow" on your screen![]()

Yep, it looks just like my "front end" ... if we can call iTunes a frontend (I do). FrontRow seems to be a favorite, but I like the large album art and touchscreen-readiness (but not necessarily the touchscreen-unfriendliness) of iTunes .
All these Mac Front End corpses in the MP3Car graveyard is depressing. If I ever decide to go with a "real" front end, I'll probably choose Road Runner. I'm tired of getting excited over the newest prospect, only to get heartbroken. Call me when the latest Mac front end is completed!![]()
My life is too short and my time is too valuable. I wouldn't recommend anyone waste their time on a Mac front end. The three choices are: FrontRow (& BackRow), iTunes, & RoadRunner (with VMWare Fusion, you can pretend it's a true Mac front end).
If someone really wants to take on the project, figure out a way to co-opt iTunes and use it as your starting point. Apple has spent millions developing it. With a few changes it could be even better.
That is one awesome installation! Congrats!
Sorry for not posting more often and just lurking... but for a Honda with Mac I have to post to say congrats !!!!! This is amazing.
great work. it looks awesome.
