Aargh, this keeps losing my responses.
I follow a decent bit of British media (relative to my peer group, anyway) so I know what you mean, despite the fact that Americans don't use the term bollocks. I don't know about other countries, Australians might...
You don't sound particularly British, that's why it was so funny. The monologue running in my head as I read it kept firing back and forth from my internal voice to a Brit every time one of those terms popped up. I am glad that you enjoyed it, though - I was a little worried I might offend.
So - how about that trackball versus the touch pad? Specifically, what were the downfalls with the trackball that you felt were corrected for by the pad?
I'm not easy to offend so don't worry about that! The trackball was ok, but my forearm would just glance off the ball when changing gear, which would just move the pointer enough to disable the screensaver. I wasn't completely happy with the look of it either, I much prefer the touchpad aesthetically, looks more modern. I will probably drop the touchpad so it's flush at some point.
Thanks for the response - that's exactly why I asked; I had thought it was just a pain to use and not aesthetic or "arm bumping" issues. Thanks!
