I need help guys.
The PC is connected and powered along with the screen.
Everything is working perfectly (touch wood) but I'm getting interference over the audio.
This is how I rigged the audio up:
The lappy is connected to a connects 2 interface that I replace the cd changer with.
The audio signal from the laptop is clean when using headphones but as soon as I connect to the line out of the laptop to the connects2 interface see pic. I get a buzzing sound.
Any ideas?
Re-route your cables and see if that makes a difference???
Hey Man Just Finish My Setup And I Too Had The Same Issue With The Same Laptop And Car Lol... I Found That My Aux Plug That Connects To My Laptop Is Not Connectec All The Way. Make Sure When You Plug It In, It Is All The Way In. It Should Click Right In Nice And Tight.
Here are some pics:
I wanted to be able to remove the screen at will for security reasons.I used a locking clip like you see in the pics

If you get the screen molded into your dash and looking OEM, I dont think you will have an issue with theft. Most thieves want to go after something that looks like its fast and eay to remove.
