wow i really like that, the subs are clean but look like they belong their, the amps look nice too...all in all a really clean install
Greetings! I spent so much time researching on this forum before I even purchased my parts that I figured I would post my creation and perhaps help someone else out a little.
Car:
2007 Nissan 350Z Touring
Nismo Exaust
Stillen Dual Cool-Air Intakes
Front-Lip Spoiler
Audio:
JL 500/1 Amplifier
JL 300/4 Amplifier
JL 10W3v3-4 Subwoofer
JL XR650-CXi Components
JL XR650-CSi Components
CarPC:
Front End: Centrafuse
Operating System: Windows XP Lite
Motherboard: J7F3E1750
Processor: 1.4GHz AMD Geode
Memory: PNY 512MB DDR400
Hard Drive #1: 100GB SATA
Power Supply: M2-ATX
Screen: Xenarc 700TSV
Sound Card: Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS Notebook
GPS: GlobalSat BU-353 USB
Sirius Tuner: Sirius Connect + SC-C1 USB Interface
Some Images:
The car from the front.
The two JL subs in a custom enclosure I put together and wrapped in color-matched vinyl.
Two JL amps on a custom-made amp rack.
The actual CarPC hidden where the old Bose sub was.
Another picture of the CarPC mounted.
Close-up of the CarPC.
The mounted Xenarc 7" LCD. I took the old bezel and after about 2 days of Bondo work and lots of dermaling and sanding, it fit nicely into the spot where the old Bose head-unit was.
Close-up of the Xenarc 7" LCD.
The GPS antenna is mounted under the plastic covering the strut bar and the Sirius antenna is magnetically mounted to the roof of the car (b/c stupid me didn't remember that the metal tint would ruin the connection).
I installed and wired everything (audio, carpc, etc) myself so if someone has specific questions on how something was done, please ask and I will do my best to help.
Thanks for looking!

very very nice.. you need a case for your carpc though!
Thanks for the comments.
See, I thought about it, but then decided not to bother with one. I mounted it to some Lexan and then mounted the Lexan directly to the metal of the car. I added some shock absorbing foam under each mount. That part of the car is never exposed and the ventilation is better w/o a case.
