If you didn't want it to be anything great, you did a pretty poor job. I'm sorry to disappoint you, but it does look good :P
Nice job mate.
After a few years of gathering parts and reading countless posts on these forums I have my carpc installed.
This car is a daily driver and I get filthy at work so I wasn't after the perfect carpc setup with everything possible installed.
A simple setup that plays mp3's and videos, no need for dvd, internet, gps (although I may get it running at a later date) phone integration or anything fancy. Just got sick of skipping cd's and head unit playing up.
It was a quick and dirty installation done over the Easter long weekend. I didn't worry about perfection, I just wanted the damn thing in there lol.
Moulded the screen into the dash one afternoon and sanded and painted it the next day.
Mounted the pc the day after and got it all running.
Gigabyte GA-PCV2 - bought off ebay
256Mb Ram - ripped out of desktop
80Gb 3.5" HDD -ripped out of desktop bought from rubbish tip for $3
Eby701 - Ebay
M3-ATX - Ebay
xp pro sp2 nlited
Centrafuse Trial (for now)
PC is mounted in dash behind screen on cut down desktop case chassis
touchscreen moulded into dash
usb port (for transferring files via thumb drive) mounted above screen in spare button
So far it works perfectly and does exactly what it is supposed to. The only foreseeable upgrades I will be doing are more ram and some fans to aid cooling (speedfan registered 53 degrees celcius today when car had been sitting in driveway) and I need to clean up my wiring.

looks great, especially for a rush job! You really should throw in a gps though...you can get a good one off ebay for as low as $38 with shipping. something like http://cgi.ebay.com/Navibe-GM720-SiR...ayphotohosting
works really well (mine picks up a signal from a cold start in about 10 seconds)
thanks guys.
it's my bad photography that makes it look alright lol up close you can see it was done quickly, but it's functional.
I only use the car to go from home to work (I work anywhere up to 60 hrs a week) or into town to go shopping so I have no real need for gps in it.
